spoon from california pepper tree wood

Finished up this eating spoon...The wood is from a stump someone had dumped at the end of a road, rather than disposing of it properly. One man's trash is another man's treasure...

That's a pretty spoon, very attractive timber. Until just now I had never even heard of California Pepper Trees, so after a bit of googling I am now a marginally wiser man. Every day is a school day on BCUK!
