Spilt paraffin on table. HELP

Hi

I experienced a degree of paraffin seepage from a tilley lamp onto an untreated oak table top.

Will I be able to remove it fairly easily? Or could I 'mask' it with beeswax / other polish?

P.S. When I say paraffin, I actually mean 28 second kerosene from my central heating tank

Its an oil. try putting a piece of paper on it and running a hot iron over it a few times. the paper should suck most of it up.
