Just been for a ferret for what I had thrown in the "to be sorted" tin

I have found a .22 rimfire slides neatly into the neck of a .223 cf case for a "small" needle case and a .303 British case slides neatly inside a .410 shotgun cartridge for a larger needle case - I'll bung in one each of these for you

No problem fella. I was really interested in your info on case fit combinations. I will have a rummage about in the garage tomorrow to see what I can find that fits.

The .357 cases generally eject from the side when I pull down on the lever, the .223 is more of an up and out direction when I lift the bolt and pull it back

yep, that's not the traditional answer, I love it
