Got this for a euro today, has a crude bevel but should sharpen up a treat, lovely little pruning knife I think.

Common name for those over here is a "linoleum knife."
You're right = tune it up = very handy for all sorts of "carving" tasks.

Turns out there was a secodary bevel too, just tickled it up and its now a super little pruning tool !
Thanks to those who identified it, had no idea there were such things !

Sadly abused today, opening up three quarter ton bags of chippings to cover terraces. Had to re sharpen this afternoon, but it was excellent at the job.
