Sourdough on the campfire

I can't figure out how to make this a picture. If you can view it, you can see we put bread mix on a stick and cook it over fire. No pots./pans required.

This picture is of my friend's wife, they are from north yorkshire, learning how to do it at our summer camp near Fort Smith NT a few years ago.

Thanks Joe. That's the only way I know how. Do you like to take the bark off the sticks, first?

Traditionally I've seen it wrapped as twists, but we use self raising flour and not yeast.

I peel the sticks as the inside is cleaner. Making sure its not a variety that's not good for you.
