The picture is not the best but the knife is soidly built and well finished.
It is a second as the blade is not central to the shaft. Not by a lot but i notice it. I thik i happened as due to a drill bit going in and breaking ( so the shaft is well stuck together)
This meant the tang could not slot properly.
It is a shaft of ziracote, thuyaburl, beech ply chevrons, wormy mapel, and some laminates. The blade is 85x 23 mm forge finished by steen nielsen and is razor sharp.
I have had this one laying around for ages and frankly i am fed up of it taking up space. I can't alter the direction on the blade so it is a second ( another reason i hate epoxy on scandis..
The blade is epoxied into the tang .
The picture is a litte decieving. the shaft is not wavy along the top, the ines flow as one as they should. Damn i hate digital cameras...
It is most difinately a good user.
