For me anyway...

I have done a fair few full tangs now, and they are probably my favourite kind of knife.

However, I've wanted to do one of these for ages and finally got around to it, finishing it this evening.

I've been rubbing it for half an hour and it already looks better.

What do you think?

110 Karesuando blade with brass bone leather with fibres and topped with mammoth ivory and brass.

It sucked up oil and I've finished it with mink oil. I'm just using it and sitting watching Tim Henman pull it out of the bag and rubbing it.

I've learned a lot - not least how to lock the top tight (this one is ugly on top) but I'm getting there.
