This knife has a blade forged by Dave Budd (but it does not bear his maker's mark in a visible place as it was sold as a bare blade) and a handle put together by Oupa (Dirk Potgieter).

The handle is made from Purpleheart, Ebony and has copper and brass decoration.

The blade is approx. 100mm long and it has a 215mm over all length

The decoration on the back is rounded off and gives a surprisingly comfortable location for the thumb. You may expect it to be a blister causer but it isn't.

It doesn't come with a sheath as I've never got round to making one. I can make one for an additional £20 if you don't want to make your own or commission someone else to make it.

This looks quite different to the norm, but it is just as capable.

I am asking a bargain price of £45 for this piece.

---

Silly price drop to £30.

I'll give it until Tuesday evening then this one will stay in the collection.
