Thanks. I think I should have drilled the hole smaller to make it a combination shaft sizer. Shaft sizers were often used as straighters. I'll try that next time. I am also going to try making arrows out of local river cane (a type of indigenous bamboo). The Cherokee in this area liked it for their arrow shaft material.
