The outside top pocket easily holds my tarp, tent pegs, and miles of para cord. The inside top pocket is the perfect size for a first aid kit (mine is quite large
) The main compartment never seems to fill up, and the side pockets are equally cavernous. It also has ice axe/haulage loops on the front.
