But sooooo glad we DID have him whilst he wrote.

I seem to remember Dibbler's tray which hung round his neck was heated by a small oil stove. So luckily the ban won't affect his business, although the contents of the tray were probably more toxic than hexi anyway...

I once made one of those things, rolled up corrugated card in a tea light container, followed by as much wax as it would take.

It burned all day even without a screen (it was windy that day)

Does need a wick to get started.

Never tried it as a stove but I suspect it would be a tad sooty.

But! Easy to make and just oddment of wax and an old cardboard box.
