Socks?

Yet another vote for British army issue socks - readily available under the Commando brand. I tried Thor-Lo and the issue sock was far better.

I think they were introduced after the previous sock was found wanting in the Falklands. Mostly wool, very comfy and hardwearing. They do become a bit less warm and less comfy after a year or two and should probably be replaced before this.

Sfunny that there are lots of members that enthuse about the British Army issue sock as my mate in the Norwegian Army swears by them,ive had to send him ten pairs this summer,i guess he must know what hes talking about by the advocates on here.
