When the picture first loaded, I thought a spike had gone through your head until I saw it was attached to the wall!!

I bet that is a weird feeling... but good on you for being a sport and doing it for a good cause.

Enjoy Japan, my son is going. We had four in our group to raise funds for and managed it in 12 months with some extra to go forward to the next Jamboree.

Personally I managed to rise £900 for their funds by learning to swim and swimming a mile. As a leader it's always good to show the young people that your prepared to go that extra bit for them.

Nice one Kaa, hope the Cubs enjoy Japan, and it's good to see you learned to swim, my dad got pushed off the top diving board as a kid and has never learnt to swim after that. It's a good skill to have as it could save your life if you fall into water and maybe save a life if you go in to save someone. All the best Rick

I am a Cub leader, Scout Assistant Leader and a Training Advisor. Must be mad !! I was 49 when I started to learn for this, there was always an excuse.

Japan looks great ! We are thinking of taking the Scouts outside of the contingency when it goes to America in four years time. That will be a big fund raiser!
