Come along to the amazing Summer Moot (21st July - 2nd August), a festival of bushcrafting and camping in a beautiful woodland PLEASE CLICK HERE for more information.
Had one and yes, the groundsheet is very thin and need to be very careful where you erect the bivy, be very careful when you go in and out of it (especially while wearing boots); also the bivy doesn't perform as expected in foul weather conditions i.e. too much condensation even when properly ventilated. The good thing is that as a hooped bivy you have enough space not to feel claustrophobic.
Having been disappointed, started saving money and went for the 600-Euro aargh4 Carinthia Observer Plus bivy tent. Don't think it needs a review, being popular among the SF/Recce community...
