and to be honest it ain't half bad, really wind proof, i dont expect it to be very waterproof but thats why God invented Goretex.
As for sizing I'm a 44 inch (easy ladies) chest and a medium fits me nice and has enough room for a fleece underneath.
It has a large map pocket on the front and a roomy pouch for your mitt's, the neck and map pocket are all velcro forgot to mention that the sleeves have velco adjustment .
I would like a ventile one made but I'm always bothered about sizing, as if you can't get one off the shelf and it doesn't fit quite right what can you do.
Oh well pay's ya money, takes ya choice.
