Sleeping bags for larger (fat!) person

Depending on how hard it is to get your hands on, try a USGI MSS.

I'm a bigger guy, and even I've got room to roll around in mine. Comes with a bivy, medium weight patrol bag, heavy weight cold weather bag, and a stuff sack. The bags and bivy snap together, so you can create the sleep system that works for you. Check it out on Youtube!
 
Look at the Snugpak range as you can buy extender panels for those of us who are slightly more padded :)
Totally agree. I've a snugpack jungle blanket down to 15 degrees. Their bags themselves are excellent. My current one is an oex 3/4 season but it's so buckly it takes up most of my Dutch army rucksack. If the op can afford it look at the down bags. And if size is an issue avoid a mummybag. Too claussltrophobic.
