Surviving a great storm alone miles from land, and being there to see a sunset the next day.

Wildlife watching. As simple as Watching the birds at the bird feeders or getting out and looking fir mammals :)

Still haven't seen any wax wings yet :(

Yeah, me too ... and looking at the river of stars overhead on a clear night. And the moon, sunrise, sunset, wind in the trees, owls calling, a vixen barking ... an adder crossing my path on Dartmoor
 
Based on my past week... asthma :rolleyes:


Or today, seeing an otter at close quarters, and many of the wonderful snow-filled scenes that I saw on a woodland walk.
