I've only found one cep so far this year, and that was too far gone to harvest. I've done really well for chicken of the woods and parasols though.

We've had masses of chicken of the woods too. Himself reckons he sourced fourteen different croping trees within a couple of miles of home.
I'm part of a fungus recording group, and the reckoning is that the dry summer has held things up a little but the Autumn flush is, and is going to be, spectacular :)

A little slow starting here; plenty of variety but not large numbers.
We have had parasols and oyster to eat but the number of species coming up in the wood are outpacing my ability to identify them!

Rain? Wazzat then? Still dry in West Sussex, apart from the local woodland stinking mightily of Phallus impudicus, I haven’t found much at all.
