Hey all,

Finally got time to refine/finish this one :)

I was looking for a shiney fancy burl or something flashy but after a lot of samples, scales and patience from Tracy "English rose" i finally used an old oak turning blank i found under my bench. The reason for the oak was just practicaility as its hard as nails and i kinda seems more familiar than some kind of african or south american hard wood
This is an out and out user and the specs are red/black fibers with oak scales on a lovely brutish 01 shing bushy blade (thanks btw ;) )

PS its a bit dirty and there are loads of scratches on the blade but this was a working progress as the handles a little different but very functional

I hope it will last as its fantastic for caving as its like a big sharp chisel

The handle is working well and the flat points at the front and rear are great for differing grip types such as close chest grips and reverse grips etc :)
