I use mine a lot for many different things.

A towel for me or the dog, a scarf/head cover and to wrap stuff in for a pillow mostly. I just like having one with me, always gets used for something.

yup i use mine, i haven't bought army coloured ones though, i got funky ones. i have a black and denim blue one, and a yellow and light pinky orange one. i use them throughout the cold months when on my bike, or i just stuff one into a side pocket just in case. my toddler wears one while on the bike or in the push chair too. i love 'em.

If im out on a bimble i usually put one over my shoulders while i stop for a brew,then it goes back in the pack.

I use it for all of the above. Also as a admin groundsheet. Lay it on the ground then put all the cr*p from my pack on it. That way nothing disappears into the leaf litter.

I have five issued ones and use one or other most of the time regardless of the fashion. Used to wear an OG/Black one in uniform, plus OG/black, sand/black or blue/white in civvies depending on my "colour scheme"! Used for everything: towel after river crossing or when I forgot proper one; sunshade; neck warmer; pillow; any number of other uses too.

Only have the one and used it for an outdoor table cloth - to posh things up for the ladies. Mind you, the food let me down.
