Sheepskin Rug

Anyone got any expereince of using a sheepskin rug to sleep on whislt out and about in the winter? I know, I know, reindeer hides etc etc, but as bulk isnt an issue with me its a bit of a cheaper way of doing things with a simiular result I am guessing........................comments and thoughts please?

this is issued kit (or was) to people camping out down south for BAS

certainly work!

Thats the kind of scence that makes you really realise just how small we are. Just a tiny spec on the earth's surface.
