Made the blade up yesterday and this morning made up the birch bark sheath have to say I like the look of the birch bark sheath and it is very sturdy, I may just make up several for my other knifes as well...

I really quite like that;) very simple cutting tool, tucked away safely. you could pop that in a pocket no bother at all.

I have only just recently, replaced a birch bark sheath, very similar to yours, I made it for a chip carving knife, about 5 years ago now and it's seen some heavy use. It's actually still okay but I decided to make a leather replacement.

Nice job;)
cheers

Very nice.

For the complete 'timeless' appearence, perhaps a leather draw pull to complement the natural (ie, no paracord!) trio, birchbark, steel and leather.
