That would be useful, Red, particularly if it has info on alignment of the new helve when fitting it (this prospect is the bit that's giving me the heebie-jeebies).

I know, drastic stuff . Sawing off the helve was a slightly weird sensation, somehow it felt wrong, yet at the same time satisfying. One for Freud, perhaps
