not a big fish eater but these where tasty.
one bags enough for 2.

have with some crusty or camp bread use the water after for a brew

or

potatoes in the water 10 mins then the fish bag 13-15 mins and some veg

nice and easy

asda do exactly the same for £1, with butter...had 'em earlier in the week and they were ace.

Chop 'em up small and chuck 'em into noodles or rice with an egg.

Iceland stores do them too for a quid. Add curry powder to Ian's rice recipe and you pretty much have Kedgeree

Iceland stores have sold them since at least 1989....its when I moved here and first started buying them. For out camping the John West tinned kippers in oil are not bad at all , 99p Tesco; canned kippers and onion sarney

they were my breakfast of choice before i became veggie, i used the ones from the coop, easy to make and will easily keep over the weekend

Curried kippers are great, the smoked fish holds a great curry taste.

Tesco's 'used' to do them for 60p... No doubt its closer to £4 now

We used to go up to some cliffs locally in the summer on a saturday morning with a portable bbq and do a full english with kippers on the side.

They work very well with a fry up!

Kippers and pickled beetroot work well together.

They used to do the same thing with a piece of salmon though I don't know if they still do?
