Scotland Coast to Coast

anyone had any experience of the scottish coast to coast? (oban to st andrews). im planning on doing it in april!

Got route Plan and how long you plan on doing it.?

ps, my mum did Glenfinnen to Edinburgh 10 years ago...took her 5-6 days if i remember correctly..not too shabby for a 5'4" 60 year old.

You can zoom in and out of a map here.

If you plan on sleeping under canvas you will need.

Vasaline.
Fabric band aids (in a 5 M length)
Cycling shorts.

Everything will get very wet.
Everything will stay very wet.
Prepare for chafing.

No I'm not. for some reason i dont think it was a fortnight.. Maybe 10 days. who knows. I'll ask her later.

She was into Monroe bagging until her 60's. Never Smoked or drank. still dances 3 days a week now. fit wee woman.

planning on 7 days to do it. i have the route already cheers muchly!
