I finished work early today which gave me just enough time to finish this. it was actually the prototype I made for a custom order so I just finshed it off.

I tried to force a patina on it but it didn't work out as well as id have liked, oh well.

here she is. 3mm 01 tool steel, not sure what the wood is, black liners and a leather back spacer

65mm blade, 175mm over all. thanks in advance for looking. kris

Nice one Kris. Good to see you were in such a rush to take the pic that you didn't stop to wash your hands.

Mosaics are a nice touch. You can have another go at the patina. Just dab some relish/tomato suce/mustard on in a few places leave overnight then scrub and repeat.

Thanks a lot everyone. Ive patina'd it more and it looks a lot better.

Next project is to have a go at forging a set of small wood carving knives.
