I have aquired a Spydie Mule and I am gonna have a stab at knocking it up myself.
Not too scared to be honest but really like the idea of something I've (kind of!) done myself and want it as a keeper, user and it to look nice.
Scales...............
I am OK with synthetics, quite like micarta and G10 but I don't think its the way to go for this for me this time.
I would like something organic, either some really nice wood or some bone/horn.
So, whats your favourite material for knife handles?
If possible I would like the pros & cons from a makers perspective especially.
I have blades already with all kinds of scales but barring a half dozen custom firesteels and repairing a Spyderco BcUK second I have done no work anything.
