Thats not a bad price for the bcb, but i've never seen one in the "flesh", and it folds away nicely. Try aldi they did a 2 pack of saws, for i think £4.99, been using mine for a while and it works ok.

I use the Gerber folding saw in my canoe, the laplander when camping and although I have a BCB pack saw - it is so long since I used it I can't find it.......

I`ve only had experience of the Laplander so can`t really comment on the other two, I can tell you though the lappy has never let me down.

I have the laplander and 2 BCB saws.I picked up the BCB ones on Ebay for £1 plus postage each. They've been in the shed ever since,A good bit of kit if a little heavy but I would still take the laplander every time.
PM me your address and I'll stick one in the post.(BCB that is mind)

I just got a silky saw. cuts on pull only its a similar size to laplander but in my limited experience it cuts faster. Its what a lot of tree surgeons use. Great kit but more ££ prolly £25 or so
