Saving Leather?

Afternoon, I've just found 1 of my late Fathers Old Binocular Pouches and well it's gone Fluffy on the Soft inner side.
Any advise? I've tried using a Suede Brush and it sort of works? / Tears it off.

Hasn't anyone ever Fixed a leather knife sheath thats gone Fluffy on the inner soft side / as tbh I've had a good google and there's way to many do's & Don't's about this problem.

Is it actually the suede side of the leather that has gone fluffy or a velvet (or similar) lining?

It's the Non Shining untreated side of the leather

I’d suggest Cellugel. May work for your issue?
