hi, this may sound odd but what kind of 11 are they do they feel shorter/narrow or do they come up quite big

i bought a 10, a number of years ago. for some reason (and after many trips) they are now much too small for me unless i don't wear socks .... and i'm pretty sure my feet aren't growing at my current age.... so i might be inclined to suggest going at least a size up from what you normally use. i found they are more of a narrow fit than the merrells, which i bought at the same time and are still super comfortable, though looking sadly the worse for wear now.
you could pop down to a mountain store and try on a pair of course
ps. the salmons have now been demoted to gardening duty ... so i can still get some usage from them - as i really like them ... but for walking now - nope, no way.
