For the record, in most cases, dialling 911 in the UK will connect you to the emergency services.

But I can save you the effort of dialling it. Their 'advice' is usually really helpful ...

If you're bleeding heavily or struggling to breath .. dial 999.
For anything else .... take 2 paracetamols and call your doctor if you're not better by tomorrow.
