Yeah - IF COURSE they can relate errors. Don’t ask someone working in a sausage factory to tell you about the process; don’t ask a veterinary assistant what goes on etc. etc.

There will always be errors. Our medical staff are human. Ask how many letters of thanks they get and it will put things into proportion. I am living between Shrewsbury and Telford - possibly the worst reported hospital group in the country - but seriously short staffed, disrespected by the (previous) Health ministry and politically screwed; they still do wonderful work.

The OP link suggests an attention seeker more than someone who has made a rational decision.

The original question remains: it there were to be a Swiss army knife created for field emergency medical response - What would it look like?

Don't think there is enough to create a SAK out of. Could go the shears route like the Leatherman Raptor, but seems a lot of medics don't like them due how hard it is to keep clean.

I realise at a glance it seems rather cool, but this is frankly terrifying. It reads more like a warzone situation than a hospital in what is a highly developed country.
Having visited a seriously ill relative in that hospital I wasn't that surprised by the story.

If you are walking around with a left behind surgical tool in you are you breaking the law……..

I mean it’s a three grand fine to report an illlegal immigrant hiding in you car and any the prosecution will be open and shut. ;)

I shall not appologise for the pun.
