Romantic Getaway

Hi all,

Possibly a strange request...

I'm looking to book a long weekend getaway for myself and the other half for earlyish in the new year as a Christmas present. I'm looking for a proper 'cabin in the woods' to rent, however Google is only showing me glossy holiday home lodge type jobs that are about as unique as Ikea furniture!

I'd love something with a woodburner that's tucked away amongst trees. Not completely adverse to a hot tub - understand this is somewhat at odds with the image of a simple log cabin!

Any help or advice much appreciated.

I'm sure that there is at least one company that specialises in B&B and self catering accommodation for couples. Little places that will only take two guests. I saw it years ago. Called "Just for two" or something like that.

I might try and find it properly, as it is one of those things worth having in the armoury in case I need it
