Returing old survivalist in Southampton

Sorry but I have not been on this site for likley.....several years! No reason other than been really super busy and very poorly.

Please allow me to re introduce myself.. 65 year old, ex military lifetime outdoorsman with loads of experience...but still can't carve a spoon to save my life.

Married 45 years, 37 year old son who is a tech nerd and hates the outdoors bless him. We have Rescue Horses and Dogs and Cats! 8 Acre fields and access to private woods for me to play in....spoilt eh?

I would say I am a Survivalist...then a Bushcrafter/Homestead dude.. then a prepper probably in that order. Pretty much retired now as Heart attack in 2019 with quadruple bypass in 2020...then of course it was the pandemic that all slowed me down...a lot.

Sold much of my bushcraft gear few years ago but still have enough to stay in our woods and fields under a parachute...my favourite MY time.

Please forgive me for not being around much but I now have time to hopefully contribute and I am always learning...still can't carve...never could...mindset thing perhaps!!
Anyway please ask as I probably missed something out
