Mine wasn't a military one though. I think it was from blacks or millets though I don't realy remember.

Well it's arrived. But they sent brown not green. Slightly dissopointing but hey, I'm not going to quibble. It the perfect size for what I want.
Last night I finaly remembered where I had bought my origional pack.
The army and navy stores.
Also got a baby petromax Dutch oven.

The brand is jack Pyke , canvas Roe sack. I got it from military 1st.
The pot comes from prepare for adventure.
Very happy with them both.
The pack seems to have a waterproof lining. Don't quite know how waterproof it is but it's a handy addition.

I keep on meaning to upgrade one of my old bag with decent leather fittings. I have too many jobs on at the moment.

What size is the pot? And how much was it?

I had a Barberque today, havent managed to tempt my Dad to join in.

I made kebabs, pork, mushroom and pepper. (This way I got three kebabs from one pork steak and plenty of veg to eat, instead of one measly steak.)

It's the smallest petromax Dutch oven. It's use is for sauces according to the accompanying blurb but it holds just under a litre. So quite tiny realy. Petromax ft1
It'sround about £30 with postage.
You can get them without legs too.
