At 5.30 this morning a good fire was going, much carrying of fuel was being dun, the wrong sort unfortunately.
It was the glare of the flames that awoke me so I get up and have a look.
Four young fellas were having a good time, (if they were in the woods I would have joined them and had an early morning brew.)
But I am not partial to the smell of a few neighbours dustbins burning away in the local school playing field, it is not the right kind of fuel for my fire.
So the moral of my story (Rant really) is use wood and get out into the woods to enjoy yourself.
And to keep this in Resources, the best place to get fuel for your small fire is from a wood, try and not cut down from trees but try and forage some from the ground.
A good tip is to stand some wood up on it's end to dry out a bit for your next visit to your camp.
Enjoy your day everyone, mine has started early.
