Removing Handle from Karesuando Knife

Hi There,

I want to re-handle my Karesuando Boar Knife, but I am uncertain of how to remove the handle. Can anyone help with this?

A couple of ways sprint to mind if the tank is not riveted at the end of the handle

Before doing anithing protect the blade and you with tape.

You could boil the handle to soften the glue plac ethe blade in a vice and ad pull hard

or just take a hacksaw to the handle stopping when you hit the tang cutting from various direction until you remove the handle/
