Fierce......I love that you've taken summat horrible and made it into summat mint! If I didn't have a gadda (catty) I'd be nagging you to make one. Well done squire .....I don't award "Fierce" lightly. Gud 'elth

Thankyou guys....

Melt in the oven at 190 for around an hour....

Its great to take something so ugly and turn it into a piece of artwork to put food on the table

Check out the youtube video by studio swine where they recycle plastic out of the sea, at sea on their trawler, using a simple furnace and metal molds to make 3 legged stools....:)
Maybe you could create a sort of drop forging type of mold and use say a car jack or a garage bending press to quickly force the material in to the shape you want, then do a light finish cut with a sharp router?
PS I once worked in a factory doing injection moulding (flymo lawn mowers) the hot plastic smell is pretty nauseating, does it get bad in the kitchen when you process these cartons? My wife just got a new oven she'd go spare :lmao:

Clever stuff, just shown it to the wife who does stuff like this with the kids at college.

She wants to know what you melted it in, in the oven.
