Thank you for your info and offer of the help. I will keep it in mind and drop you pm if needed.
The axe edge has been sharpened by files lightly before use, and it seems working great the way it is now.
And the whole things is a trial, and I am extremely conscious of its limits, so it is used with that fact in mind. cheers.
