Since I'm going to be sanding and painting a lot of doors in the future and for once I had some spare wood I knocked up some quick and nasty light trestles.
The wood is 70 x 20 mm pine salvaged from a otherwise MDF kids bunk bed we have recently replaced. Joints are 8 x 30 mm pegs with a lot of glue. All I had to buy in were 4 x 3 inch steel hinges and matching screws.
They are sized to match my work bench when opened up. To be honest one s a bit warped until you put some weight on it then it looks fine. Ill do something heavier when I get the materials spare. Saying that these are thin enough to slide behind chest of draws or light enough to hang off a shelf until needed.
