recycled blade

A friend of mine is a window fitter and he was changing the blade on his "window trim cutter thingys" So i asked him if i could have it. This is what i came up with,the handle is birch burr and the blade holds a really good edge now my friend wants his blade back

Nice job and I love recycling stuff - giving something a new life is much better than throwing away. Where did get the birch burr?

I bought the burr as a plank off a bloke in durham who makes rocking horses.
