Recommend me a bandsaw?

Cheers! The blade that came with it is a Woodpecker , made in the UK, does anyone know of this brand?.

Ill give it a go. I've heard a lot of good things about Tuff Saw. Ill have to work out which ones are right for this machine.

Axminsters own blades are very good. Also dont get too hung up on the TPI, Low TPI will leave a nice edge if you take your time.

Weeeeell, until we have used it some and can give a potted review there's not a lot i can add. Build quality is fine, went together very easily. No part needed work to get them to fit. The manual is straight forward and easy to follow, it was pretty much assembled by a 13 year old with very little input from me. I double checked the tracking and other bits but didnt need to do owt.

The pipe from the Vax fitted neatly into the vent once the hand piece was removed with a couple of quick prods with a flat turnscrew. The saws motor is quieter than I'd expected , the Hoover completely drowns it out.
