For something under a tenner to your door it is hard to beat something that is well made, strong, easy to sharpen and is the perfect example of KISS!

It does the job, it may not look as nice as a hand made bushy but it works and you won't cry (too much) if you loose it;)

thanks is there any one frost mora knife you guys recomend over the others or are they all good? i just want it for general bushcraft?
a carbon clipper, for me it is the best mainly as the handle is easy to grip unlike the Frosts 760 whcih feels a tad plastic, saying that it is still a blooming good knife.

i like the clipper.. better handle .. for my hands and i like the Blaze saftey orange colour to as i cant loose it or the sheath :D and i prefer stainless steel blade for ease of use and i take it seafishing to
only thing i find a mild PITA is the plastic sheath dosnt have a Fire steel holder (no im not getting a Leather one that cost 2-3x the knife thanks :D :D ) so i might glue on some hting if i can fide a good tube and can be bothered

Ok so you don’t want to spend loads of cash on a sheath for your knife, as maybe you will be replacing it with a more expensive one in the near future, I understand then, here is an idea for a cheaper alternative.
Mod a clipper sheath with a dangler. Put a D ring in the clip and either bind the clipper clip to stop it unhooking or glue it, added a dangler with the light my fire style Ferro rod holder.

Mine is made from cardboard as I am at work and don’t have any time to make it out of leather, but you should get the idea from the picture

nice idea
but i do actually like the Clipper placcy sheath i never wear it on a belt as i rearly wear a belt its carryed mostly in my pack and i love the clipon the sheath you can put it in a pocket and it clips on in or out of the pocket or on and of a belt or waist band
teh Fire steel is just a niggle to me i carry a smaller BCB on my SAK that i do have in my pocket the larger Ferro rod (bare no handle) just has a loop of string and is in hte pack as well i dont feel the need to have a knife on my hip at all times if im out i use zip of side pockets and take the medic pouch with me this is where the Clipper and ferro live along with brewkit etc it then re attatches ot he main bergan for the larget kit

I do want to try a few knife shapes etc but will make these (crudley :D ) just for interest sake
as for a decent knife i have my Granfathers Helle Bard from the 60's in tri lam which is nice but again no better than the Frost

whats the deal with a Frost Mora then? whys it so good?

Do a search for Frosts Mora and you will see its been talked about again and again on this site. Using the search facility is a good starting point of reference before asking a question thats been asked many times before?

I'm kinda fond of this one, the Iisakki Järvenpää utility knife.
