Reclaimed leather.

I cut up an old G.P.O tool bag to use the leather, various thicknesses from 2mm to
3.5mm. So far it's provided for two axe sheaths and these two pouches.

It's my first attempt at wet forming leather and I don't have any real leather working tools so their a bit rough. You can still see the old stitch holes etc. I don't mind I kind of like the idea of using reclaimed materials.
The snap on the larger pouch is from the spares pack that came with my chainsaw trousers, hope the boss isn't a member.:D

Thanks for the feed back guys. I enjoyed making them, need to find some more leather though. Good idea about the charity shops ,will have a mosey at the week end.

By the way John I remember , 17 years ago, being inspired by you to do some recycling work on a Swedish bayonet, remember ?

My but that was a while - and a few knives - ago.
