Oh my goodness me, what with Niels knife and this lovely stuff, on top of everyone else's I think I'll take up road-sweeping ... anyone got an old brush ??? This is really, really beautiful

Thanks again everyone for the comments. bear2012 there are a few threads on here about good carving woods but Lime Poplar and Alder are good ones to start with.
