Anyone ever made one?
There area lot of ponds here with a boat (or several) on; And I think that if I want to get into museum work then possibly brushing up on my modelling skills would be sensible.
(That is her excuse)
I started by looking online and finding free plans...or at least something I could draw my own from.
(Not as easy as it sounds)
But I have no money!
I have been looking through my kit and found;
Tools etc.
a two channel RC
Numerous servos
a motor (but no idea how suitable it is)
I think I can build most bits from thin wood and card. I will need a few fittings though.
Any good guides? I have never built a boat before. Or rigged it for RC.
The boat I have chosen is a Clyde Puffer (Read `Para Handy` during my time on the West Coast) But I am also tempted by a yacht.
