I have decided to sell my Shetland GH14, which has had numerous improvements made.

A twin-skinned fast, efficient day fishing or pleasure boat. I converted the boat to a centre console about a year ago. Fuel tank sits in the base of the console, all steering cables etc routed under the floor. Lovely boat, ready to go.

- Centre console modification provides much more space and better balance.
- Excellent 25HP Mariner 2-stroke outboard electric start. Bought locally from specialist. Paperwork supplied to buyer.
- Easily launched and recovered single handed
- Quality stainless fittings used throughout
- Hull gel coat refurbised and polished
- Stored under cover
- Trailer is a swing beam roller type, new wheels and tyres
- There are cheaper GH14's out there, if you want one with a poor trailer or old engine. This is the best one I know of.

£2750 OVNO. No delivery.

Happy to arrange viewings - Pulborough in West Sussex.

I should have added that I did all the work on this myself. I have loads of photos and can talk anyone through the upgrades. Happy to let people come and look.

I would consider a sensible offer, given that Flea Bay will charge a fat commission. (The engine alone was £1,250!)

It’s a lovely boat mate, were I not so unsettled at the moment with a sudden move and it’s costs I’d be giving it a good think. You’re only across the way from me, have you advertised at Chi, Bosham, Dell Quay? There’s a ton of cash round there and plenty of people that wouldn’t blink at spending it on a fun little boat like that.

Thanks Nice. She's advertised on Boats & Outboards too, but thier site has just changed hands and isn't as good as it was. I don't want to go overto eBay but needs must!

I hope it sells well for you :)
I wonder whether other more water based sites might be more receptive though ?
SongofthePaddle is canoe based, but it's a broad kirk..... not expensive to post an ad there as a contributing member, either.

Best of luck with it,
M

Yeah, I saw that. Google pinged it up when I looked at the Shetland. Don’t, if you can possibly do it any other way, go eBay unless you can deal with the potential buyer face to face. Which of course cuts eBay out of the picture and is totally legit.

I reckon you should tow it down to the Crown and Anchor with a ‘for sale’ tag on it, park up and have lunch, then off to the marina for the rest of the day. Not a bad day out if you chat to a few people, still a lot of genuine boaters about.

In case anyone is interested, this will be on FleaBay from 2000 tonight. I know I'll get ruined by the commission but I need the space!
