I use a stainless steel saucepan instead of a dutch oven, less labour intensive to keep clean and use

Last time it did a small bread simply in a crusader cup. Burried the cup in embers laying on its side, put some more coals on top. Worked fine, not picture perfect but good enough for me. Did not even have a lid.

I don't think I'll have any outing before Christams break - not any where I can make an open fire that is. But next time I'll snap some pics.
My normal pot is a alpkit 700ml titanium and I normally just do heavy soups. I take the crusader when I want to do more cooking, have a second pot with better heat conduction.
