Morning,

Has anyone undertaken or know of anyone that does population control on a school premises?

I have a growing number of rabbits in Bucks and need to reduce the population.

Obviously as it's a school I have other requirements than just man with gun / man with ferret / man with hawk but I'm happy to discuss that with anyone who wishes to look at it.

One of the moderators on airgunforum.co.uk is also a member here, I shall drop him a PM over there and see if he can think of someone close to your location.
Sadly I too am a bit far away.

Stew, I'm the mod mentioned in Rob's post - if you like, I can probably find you a volunteer. Obviously you'd need to vet the any candidates, and I can help you with that if needed.

Cheers,

Shame your not closer Stew.

Our local school has hast cancel sports day and all use of its playing field till September due to rabbit damage
Really ,how come it was left to get so bad,or is it a case of over cautious health and safety?

Just be sure the precious babies do not see anything, as they can get PTS and later turn to criminals.
Or even worse, their mums. The ones that call themselves Yummy Mummies.. They might call PETA !

People Eating Tasty Animals. I love herbivores. Right between the peas and the mashed potato.

Inbetween the beer.
That was a goid way to describe PETA. I knew a couple of supporters. Only touched meat - sorry - 'protein' - if it was packaged boneless in a plastic tray.

Rabbit is nice. People do not value it as they think of pet bunnies.
Me, I think of a bit of Garlic, lots of Thyme, black pepper and a cut up orange.
Breaded, boneless as Schnitzel too!
Hare is nicer though.
Not as sweet, so is more verstile. Hate biting into pellets though.
