We actually got some snow here last night, not much but enough to get me excited enough to go out for a stomp and some food.
I had veggie sausage and fried egg butties with ketchup, cooked over the fire, wanted to do some fried bread too but was so stuffed after the butties I didn't have room for it
Was quite picturesque on the way up
Found a bone dry old pine trunk that made absolutely perfect kindling
and started building my liitle fire
Which ended up quite a bit bigger than intended cos it was b&%$dy freezing, I'd left
my bottle of water in the car overnight and it was pretty much frozen solid so I had to warm it by the fire.
Took about three hours to gather and process the wood, and get a decent cooking fire, was worth the wait though.
